A NextGen Leader walks among us

We’re proud to share the news that Dan Benzimra, our Investment Director here at Connor Broadley has been awarded a place on this year’s prodigious PAM Insights ‘NextGen Leaders’ list.

The list recognises people in the wealth management industry who excel in their role, and as the name suggests, the combination of their talent and experience means they are well placed to be industry leaders of the future.

Dan joined Connor Broadley as a fresh-faced ‘Accounting and Finance’ graduate in 2012. From Analyst to Manager and today as Investment Director, he exudes calm, authority, and selflessness in equal measure.

Dan heads up the day-to-day running of our Investment Management team and is responsible for the development and wellbeing of its members, and directly reports into our CIO Chis Wyllie.

In addition to his investment skills, both operational efficiencies and technological uptake at Connor Broadley have blossomed under Dan’s stewardship, and over the years his ability to articulate complex investment matters in a clear and concise way has made him a firm favourite with many of our private clients. Their relationship with Dan is built on his knowledge and personable nature, which generate trust and affection in equal measure.

He is often referred to as the kindest man in the office, a moniker supported by a client once describing him as, the sort of person who would willingly come to your house to help you carry a fridge up the stairs.

Outside of the office, Dan’s somewhat unexpected but legendary karaoke rendition of Coolio’s ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ is something to behold.
