Bringing out the big guns

Congratulations to our Connor Broadley team for competing in yet another Standard Chartered ‘Great City Race’ alongside over 5,000 other runners.

Setting off  amongst the historic cannons in the grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), the 5K route winds it way through the City of London, passing some of its most famous landmarks.

Money raised goes to The Standard Chartered Foundation to support Futuremakers, a global initiative to tackle inequality and promote economic inclusion with programmes that enable disadvantaged young entrepreneurs and jobseekers, predominantly women, to learn, earn and grow to improve their economic skills and prospects.

It was a great evening despite the stormy conditions, and came with the added bonus that the post-run warm-down included the inevitable ‘one for the road’.
