In conversation with Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel

Last night we were privileged to have ex-BBC broadcasters Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel as guests for our latest online event. Jon was talking to Emily about ‘the art of the news interview’ and it was fascinating to hear the back story to her famous 2019 interview with Prince Andrew. The conversation took in everything from the likelihood of Donald Trump running for president again, to the impact of ‘fake news’ for journalists.

Having both left the BBC earlier this year, Emily and Jon have now joined Global where they will soon be presenting a new radio show and podcast.
